Publication Policies
General Acceptance Criteria
- Originality: the manuscript must not have been previously published or submitted to any other journal or site.
- Relevance to the journal's scope.
- Sound methodology and an accurate description of methods.
- Ethical commitment: disclosure of conflicts of interest and proper citation.
- References documented under a unified system (APA, IEEE, or similar).
- The article must not exceed ten pages.
Review Procedure
- Initial screening: formatting check, scope fit, and originality.
- Expert review: the manuscript is sent to at least two reviewers in the relevant specialization.
- Decision: accept, conditional acceptance (with revisions), or reject.
- Revision: the revised version is resubmitted and re-reviewed as needed.
- Final publication once all requirements are met, in an upcoming issue.
Double-Blind Review
Author and reviewer identities remain fully hidden from each other throughout the review process, ensuring objectivity and fairness and eliminating reputation bias or an "old friends' club" effect.
Manuscript Evaluation Criteria
- Novelty and originality.
- Methodological rigor.
- Significance and impact (scientific or applied).
- Clarity and linguistic organization.
Publication Ethics
- Authors bear responsibility for the accuracy of information and conclusions.
- A manuscript may not be published in another scholarly journal after acceptance here.
- Contributions by others must be documented clearly.
- Opinions not grounded in a documented scientific reference must be clearly identified as such.
- Use of plagiarism-detection software (such as iThenticate) is a core condition for acceptance.
Open Access and Publishing Rights
The journal follows a full-text Open Access model with no reading or download restrictions. The specific reuse license (such as a Creative Commons license) has not yet been finalized and will be announced once formally approved by journal management.
Article Processing Charge (APC)
The journal's scholarly plan describes a proposed, not-yet-finalized publication fee policy: charged once, only after acceptance for publication (never upon rejection), with a tiered structure — a reduced rate for Syria-based researchers and an estimated USD 300–500 for researchers based abroad. These figures are estimates pending final approval by journal management.
Publication Steps
- Receipt of the manuscript.
- Initial screening for formatting and compliance with publication conditions.
- Notifying the author of the initial screening result.
- Requesting revisions from the author based on reviewer feedback, if any.
- Publishing the article in an upcoming issue.
